Purpose, scope, and modification of the statement

The operator of the website neuroverse.com, Miklós Danka, H-1015 Budapest Szabó Ilonka u. 61., Hungary (hereinafter referred to as the Service Provider/Controller) informs Users about the processing of data on the website in accordance with Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as GDPR) and the domestic legislation, Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (hereinafter referred to as Infotv.).

This Privacy Policy is valid from 22 May 2023. until its withdrawal.

The Service Provider may unilaterally amend this Privacy Policy at any time. The Privacy Policy will be published on the neuroverse.com website and will enter into force upon its publication.

What personal data do we collect and for what purpose do we collect it?

Contact form:

You can contact me here if you have any questions. The content of the form you send and the date you sent it will be stored in the system and kept indefinitely. We will not use it for marketing or other purposes, nor will we pass it on to third parties. You can request at any time to have your data deleted from the system.

Booklet download form:

You can use this form to indicate your book(s) download request and we will send you the information by email. Here you need to agree that we may contact you later to let you know when the full book is available, or with other news about the book. We will not use the information for marketing or other purposes, nor will it be passed on to third parties. You can ask us to delete information about you from the system at any time.

Cookies:

We use Google Analytics to collect visitor statistics.  The data is stored by Google and provided to us in the form of statistics, without any identifiable information. In addition, the site’s security software may store cookies in the browser, which provides security functions.

Embedded content from other websites:

Entries on the website may use embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) from external sources. Embedded content from external sources behaves exactly as if you had visited another website.

How long do we keep your data?

We will keep your data indefinitely, but you can ask us to send you the data that concerns you or to delete it at any time.

Data processors, data transmission

We may use various companies to process the data and transfer to them the data necessary for the purposes set out below. The following data processor processes the data:

Information on data transfers abroad

Google LLC and its member companies are included in the European Commission’s Article 45 GDPR Compliance Decision and Commission Implementing Decision 2016/1260 and the US-EU Privacy Shield List established on the basis thereof, i.e. transfers to Google LLC are not considered as transfers to third countries outside the European Union and do not require the specific consent of the data subjects and are permitted under Article 45 GDPR. These companies have undertaken to comply with the GDPR.

 Data security

– The controller shall design and implement the processing operations in such a way as to ensure the protection of the privacy of data subjects.

– The data controller shall ensure the security of the data (password and antivirus protection), shall take the technical and organizational measures, and shall establish the procedural rules necessary to enforce the Info Act and other data protection and confidentiality rules.

– The data controller shall take appropriate measures to protect the data against, in particular, unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, transmission, disclosure, erasure or destruction, accidental destruction or damage, or inaccessibility resulting from changes in the technology used.

– The controller shall ensure, by appropriate technical means, that the data stored in the records cannot be directly linked and attributed to the data subject.

– To prevent unauthorized access to personal data, alteration, and unauthorized disclosure or use of personal data, the data controller shall ensure: the establishment and operation of an appropriate IT and technical environment; the controlled selection and supervision of its staff involved in the provision of services; the issuance of detailed operating, risk management, and service provision procedures.

– Based on the above, the service provider ensures that the data managed by it is available to the right holder, its authenticity and authentication are ensured, and its integrity can be verified.

– The information technology system of the Data Controller and its hosting provider protects against, among others, cyber fraud, espionage, computer viruses, spam, hacks, and other attacks.

User obligations

By entering his/her e-mail address and personal data on the website, any User also accepts responsibility for the fact that only he/she will enter -correct- data and place an order from the e-mail address provided. Given this responsibility, any liability for accessing the website from an e-mail address provided shall be borne solely by the User who registered the e-mail address. Users are reminded that if they do not provide their data, they are obliged to obtain the consent of the person concerned.

For matters not covered by this Privacy Notice, the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council, Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Information Self-Determination and Freedom of Information, Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code and other applicable legislation shall apply.
